Colorado State Park   Harvey Gap State Park is a favorite spot for families throughout the year. Harvey Gap offers shaded picnic tables by the water, boating for boats with motors 20 hp or less, canoes, windsurfing, fishing, and even a swim beach. All are great activities if you are looking for a fun-filled day! Visitors also may see a variety of wildlife, including migrating waterfowl. Harvey Gap is a day-use area, but overnight camping is available nearby at Rifle Falls State Park and Rifle Gap State Park, which are approximately six miles west of Harvey Gap. (less) ... (more)

Where Education Meets Adventure in the Heart of the Florida Keys   The Newfound Harbor Marine Institute (NHMI) program was started in 1970 for the purpose of complementing Seacamp Association's mission to provide experiential marine science education opportunities. The NHMI program extends these opportunities into the school year, from early September through late May, for students from 4th grade through college level, as well as teachers. Colorado State Park   Rifle Falls State Park is a lush area of trees and greenery kept moist by the spray of the cascading triple waterfall. Picnicking near the majestic falls is very popular. Mysterious limestone caves beneath the falls entice spelunkers and other curious visitors to explore their dark depths. Rifle Falls State Park has numerous campsites that sit to the south along East Rifle Creek. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings and 30 amp electrical outlets. Colorado State Park   The clean, clear waters of Rifle Gap State Park's 350-acre reservoir provide some of the best boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, water-skiing and windsurfing in Colorado. The beach on the west side of the reservoir is popular for its family-friendly swimming. Campers like Rifle Gaps campgrounds for their wide-open sites, breathtaking views of the reservoir, and spectacular mountain vistas. Campsites can accommodate tents, small trailers, large motor homes and pickup campers and have varying amenities, from full hookups to basic tent only sites. Scouting   Going to Girl Scout camp can be a life-changing experience for girls. Its a place to try new things, get along with girls who are different and let down their guard in a safe environment. We have affordable day camp programs for all girls ages 6-17. You don't have to already be a Girl Scout to join the fun. Special discounts are available for first-time campers, even those who participate in other Girl Scout activities. Each camp program is geared to the girls age and gives girls the unique Girl Scout Leadership Experience while they have big fun and make friendships to last a lifetime. You could learn different dances from around the world; experience life as the pioneer women did; perhaps grow crystals or set off rockets; solve a mystery CSI-style; play games and make camp crafts; challenge yourself to learn new water sports; or choose from many other themed sessions. Most camp sessions are five days per week from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Day camps are made possible by dedicated volunteers throughout the state.
